Master Food Volunteer Training

The Alexandria Childhood Obesity Action Network (A-COAN) is partnering with the Virginia Cooperative Extension (VCE) to expand the Master Food Volunteer Program in Alexandria.  The Master Food Volunteer Program combines your love of cooking, nutrition, physical activity, and helping others!  The corps of volunteers helps the Virginia Cooperative Extension reach more Virginians with up-to-date, research based knowledge on food preparation, nutrition, food safety, and physical activity.

We are actively recruiting volunteers to participate in the March 2014 training class.  Space is limited and registration closes January 15th.
