Alexandria, VA (released: August 13, 2014) – “Metamorphosis!” opens on Friday, October 3, with an artists’ reception from 7-9 pm at Del Ray Artisans gallery. This art exhibit is a juried art exhibit featuring work by local artists. The juror is Elizabeth Ann Coleman, retired director and curator emeritus of textiles and fashion at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. · Costume Swap - Following a Del Ray Artisans’ membership meeting on Saturday, October 18th at 5 pm, there will be a costume swap. This will also be the last chance to bid and buy one of the creatively decorated masks in the Mask-erpiece silent auction.
