Your kids can paint, sculpt and craft in a positive and supportive environment with small class sizes (just 10 kids per session). These week-long, half-day camps are hosted both mornings and afternoons for children ages 6 to 9 or 10 to 13. Classes are taught by an experienced and loved Fairfax County Public Schools art teacher. This art exhibit is a juried art exhibit featuring work by local artists. The juror is Elizabeth Ann Coleman, retired director and curator emeritus of textiles and fashion at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. Metamorphosis implies a distinct transformative change from one form to another, the key word being 'change'. The artwork featured in this show demonstrates how change can be positive, negative, frightening, or enlightening; metaphorical or physical.
