Now Leasing: Notch 8 Apartment Building at Potomac Yard

New residents of the new Notch 8 apartment building, located at 2900 Main Line Blvd. in Alexandria’s Potomac Yard area, will start moving in on Wednesday, August 5, a leasing agent for the building said Wednesday.

One of the biggest amenities for incoming residents and area residents: A brand-new Giant store with its own Starbucks, possibly opening in September, the employee said.

Some of the other amenities at Notch 8 include a courtyard swimming pool, a soundproof game room with a 70-inch screen and a “Fitness on Demand” feature that allows visitors to the building’s gym to choose workout videos that play on a big screen. The building includes underground parking, charging stations, a lounge with an indoor-outdoor fireplace and more. You’ll also find free Wi-Fi inside and outside as well as bike storage areas.

Although prices fluctuate with the market and square footage, on Wednesday, prices ranged from $1,770 for a one-bedroom, one-bath up to nearly $3,000 for a two-bedroom, two-bath unit.

Notch 8 will be six stories high and is currently leasing apartments on the second and third floors. The building should be completed within the next three months.
