Potomac Yard Metro Station Public Hearing Report Available
Potomac Yard Metrorail Implementation Group will also be holding a meeting tonight.

If you had an opinion about the proposed Potomac Yard Metrorail Station and sent your comments to the City/Metro, or if you want to just find out what‘s going on with the project, you can take a look at the recently released Public Hearing Staff Report on the project, according to WMATA.
The 286-page report is available for review and comment until next Monday, Sept. 28.
The Potomac Yard Metrorail Implementation Group (PYMIG) will also be holding a meeting tonight from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the City Council Workroom, City Hall, 301 King St. in Alexandria. The meeting will include an update on the Environmental Impact Statement process, a discussion of the proposed station design process, as well as revisions to PYMIG membership and responsibilities which will be presented to City Council next Tuesday, Sept. 29.

The Public Hearing Staff Report addresses comments on the proposal, received at the public hearing held on April 30, as well as comments received during the public comment period. This comment period on the Public Hearing Staff Report is your opportunity to make sure your comments were accurately characterized in the Staff Report, and you can send clarification if desired.
Comments on the Public Hearing Report will be accepted until 5 p.m. next Monday. The report is available on-line at www.wmata.com/hearings and during business hours at City Hall, WMATA headquarters, and local libraries.

Written statements and exhibits must be received by 5 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 28, and may be emailed to writtentestimony@wmata.com, or mailed to the Office of the Secretary, Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, 600 Fifth Street, NW, Washington, D.C. 20001.
