Security Lighting at Beverley Park: Community Meeting Set
A man's body was found at the Alexandria park in November.

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- The City will hold a community meeting next week about security lighting at Beverley Park, where a man was found murdered last year.
The Department of Recreation, Parks, and Cultural Activities (RPCA) will hold a community meeting on Tuesday, March 9 at 7 p.m. at the Cora Kelly Recreation Center, 25 West Reed Ave. to seek input on proposed park security lighting at Beverley Park. Lighting is recommended in the Beverley Park Improvement Plan to improve park surveillance and security during evening hours. Beverley Park is currently unlit.
