Shelter Waives All Adoption Fees for Rabbits in February

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- Looking for somebunny to love? The Animal Welfare League of Alexandria is waiving adoption fees on all rabbits through the end of February.

Some of the shelter’s rabbits have been waiting for new homes since September 2015.

All of the shelter’s adoptable rabbits are spayed or neutered and microchipped prior to adoption.

The League notes that if you’ve never owned a rabbit before, and need some help learning how to care for a house rabbit, their staff give you all the information you need about bunny diets, litter training (yes, bunnies can be litter-trained), bunny-proofing your home and how to keep their minds active and healthy.
