Tagg Romney Loves The Dairy Godmother

The eldest son of Republican Presidential nominee Mitt Romney says Del Ray’s is his favorite spot in Virginia, according to The Examiner’s Yeas and Nays blog.

Tagg Romney spoke with the Virginia delegation at the GOP Convention in Florida earlier this week and was quoted as saying the Mt. Vernon Avenue custard shop is tops on his Commonwealth list.

"It has got to be the best sorbet and yogurt that I've ever had in my life," Tagg Romney said.

Academy Award-winning actor Jon Voight also paid a visit to the Virginia delegation in Clearwater, Fla., and said Mount Vernon Estate is his favorite place in all the world.
