According to police, the theft occurred June 21 at the Ulta Beauty store at 9600 Main St.

Investigators said two women entered the store and began collecting several brands of women's perfume. When employees approached and asked if they needed assistance, police said the woman wearing a black shirt concealed some of the merchandise inside a black handbag she had brought into the store.

Both women then left the store without paying and fled into the parking lot, police said. One suspect left on foot while the other drove away in an orange Nissan Murano, or a similar vehicle, heading eastbound on Main Street.

Suspects Accused Of Stealing Alcohol From Giant

A third investigation involves an alleged shoplifting incident Monday at the Giant grocery store at 9400 Fairfax Blvd.

Police said two suspects entered the store at approximately 3:30 p.m. and attempted to purchase $20.07 worth of alcoholic beverages. The transaction was declined because of insufficient funds on the payment card, according to investigators.

Rather than returning the items, police said the suspects walked past the point of sale without paying and left the store with the alcohol.
