1 Dead, 2 Injured In Seven Corners Crash

A crash in the area of Arlington Boulevard led to one death and two hospitalizations Friday morning in Seven Corners.

SEVEN CORNERS, VA — One person was killed and two others were sent to the hospital from a crash in Seven Corners Friday, police say.

The crash happened at Arlington Boulevard and Patrick Henry Drive around 1:10 a.m. Friday, Fairfax County Police reported. Police say an eastbound 2016 Honda Accord on Arlington Boulevard in the far-left lane struck a 2018 Honda Civic attempting an abrupt u-turn from the far-right lane.

Christina Hamilton, 37, who was believed to be the Civic driver, was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead. The Accord driver and passenger were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police received witness information that a man ran from the scene of the crash, but police believe they have identified all involved. Detectives are investigating to confirm if Hamilton was the driver in the crash.

Police do not believe speed or alcohol were factors for the Accord driver in the crash.

Arlington Boulevard was temporarily closed in both directions but reopened before the peak morning rush hour.
