1 Injured In Bailey's Crossroads House Fire

No firefighters were injured when responding to a fire in a home's carport Thursday morning.

BAILEY'S CROSSROADS, VA — One person was injured in a Bailey's Crossroads house fire Thursday, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.

The fire happened at a house in the 5700 block of Scoville Street. When the first unit arrived, fire was showing from the home's attached carport. The fire was extinguished and there were no firefighter injuries. One resident was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue said the fire will displace two residents. There was no immediate word on damages and the cause of the fire.
