1 Injured In House Fire In Lake Barcroft Area

Firefighters responded late Tuesday to a house fire that extended to several floors.

LAKE BARCROFT, VA — One person was injured in a house fire Tuesday night in the Lake Barcroft area, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.

Around 11:29 p.m., Fairfax County and Arlington County fire units responded to the 3300 block of Grass Hill Terrace. A fire was located in the basement with extension to the first floor and attic.

One resident was taken to the hospital for evaluation. No firefighters were injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Damages were estimated to be around $25,000.
