FALLS CHURCH, VA — City of Falls Church Police are investigating $300,000 in fraudulent checks from the city's accounts were stolen and cashed.
City government determined last week the checks were fraudulently cashed using the city's accounts. The eight checks totaled over $300,000 and had the original payee information removed and replaced with new payee information, according to police.
