5 Dates To Know On The Falls Church Schools Calendar

FALLS CHURCH, VA—The 2018-2019 school year is almost here, and while students may be dreading it, the time has come to make preparations for the upcoming school year.

All Falls Church City Public Schools students will be back in school by Sept. 4 after the Labor Day holiday on Monday, Sept. 3.

Here are five other important dates on the FCCPS public schools calendar that you should be aware of during the first few months of the year:

1. Oct. 5: Early dismissal
2. Oct. 8: No school (Columbus Day)
3. Nov. 5-6: Professional Day
4. Nov. 21-23: No school (Thanksgiving)
5. Dec. 24-Jan. 1: No school (winter break)
