ALDI Opens First Falls Church Location This Week
The grocery chain also has plans to open another Falls Church location in 2018.

FALLS CHURCH, VA—ALDI is rapidly expanding across the country, and Falls Church is part of those plans. The first Falls Church location will open at 8100A Arlington Boulevard in Merrifield Thursday.
Shoppers are invited to the grand opening at 7:50 a.m. Thursday for giveaways, contests, samples and more. The prizes include produce for a year and a "Golden Ticket" giveaway for gift cards of varying values.
ALDI is also set to open a City of Falls Church location in 2018 at Tower Square Shopping Center (155 Hillwood Avenue).

ALDI offers premium groceries at discounted prices. The grocery chain cuts down on costs with practices such as a cart rental system and charges for customers not bringing their own shopping bags.
In Northern Virginia, ALDI stores are located in Alexandria, Annandale, Chantilly, Fairfax, Springfield, Ashburn, Sterling, Manassas, Woodbridge and Dumfries. German-based ALDI is planning to open 2,500 stores in the U.S. by the end of 2022. It currently has more than 1,600 stores in 35 states.
