Apartment Fire In Falls Church Yields No Injuries

FALLS CHURCH, VA—Firefighters responded to a blaze at a Falls Church apartment before noon on Friday.

The Arlington and Fairfax County fire departments were on scene of Falls Chase Condos, a two-story garden-style building on South Washington Street. The fire was put out and contained to the one apartment unit. No one was injured.

The Falls Church fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire. There was no immediate word on damages.

As of 12:05 p.m., one lane of South Washington Street heading south is closed between the 900 and 1200 block. There are no northbound lanes closed.
