App For Santa Sightings In Your Home Created By Falls Church Man

The Falls Church man's free app lets you snap photos of Santa around your home, a fun idea to try on Christmas Eve.

FALLS CHURCH, VA—If you're a parent looking for creative ways to keep your kids believing in Santa, a local man has a brilliant idea. Falls Church-based entrepreneur Jim Hallihan has created an app called Capture the Magic, which allows you to take or upload a photo and add a realistic sticker of Santa.

Imagine the possibilities this creates. You could add Santa carrying a bag of toys to your tree. He could be ready to head down your chimney. Or maybe he's hungrily looking at the plate of cookies your kids left.

Either way, it's a fun thing to try and show your kids on Christmas Day.

Co-owner Jim Hallihan came up with the idea in 2009. As a dad, he wants to help families stage their own Santa visits and prove that he did visit.

Even after Christmas ends, the fun can live on. There are stickers for the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, leprechauns and more.
