Armed Falls Church Man Terrorizes Woman: Police

Police say the man kept the gun in a home near small children before his arrest.

FALLS CHURCH, VA—A man that terrorized a woman on a street with a gun Wednesday is facing charges, Fairfax County Police say.

Around 6:02 p.m., a woman was walking in the 4100 block of Chantilly Lace Court in Chantilly when she saw a man she believed to be her relative. When she greeted him, the man pointed a gun at her, police say.

The victim fled and called police. Officers were able to track down the man matching the provided description. As the man spotted police, he ran into a home and out the back door, but officers were waiting for him there.

After police arrested Brand Lacroix, 27, of Falls Church, investigations revealed he kept his gun in a home near small children. He was charged with charged with brandishing, felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of ammunition, and reckless handling of a firearm.
