Bailey's Crossroads Murder Suspect Extradited, Charged
The suspect was extradited from El Salvador years after fleeing from Fairfax County following the murder, according to police.

BAILEY'S CROSSROADS, VA — A man has been extradited from El Salvador and charged in a 2016 murder in Bailey's Crossroads.
Adonay Polanco Cabrera, 25, who previously lived in the Culmore area of the county, was extradited with the assistance of federal law enforcement. He arrived in Fairfax County on Aug. 18, was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, and was charged with first degree murder, burglary and grand larceny.
The homicide occurred in the 5500 block of Seminary Road in Bailey's Crossroads on Nov. 24, 2016. Detectives found the victim deceased with upper body trauma. The victim was identified as Leif Erick Ohlsson, 69, a resident of that location.

The next day, police announced three people were in custody. Fredy Cisneros Agustin, 24, was charged with murder and burglary, while Gabriel Coca, 31, and Nasario Perez Amaya, 27, were charged with burglary.
Polanco Cabrera was wanted by police after the three initial arrests. Police determined he left Northern Virginia after the murder and was arrested by authorities in El Salvador in July 2018.

Cisneros Agustin, now 28, of Culmore, pleaded guilty to second degree murder in November 2017 and is awaiting sentencing.
