Bank Robbery in Falls Church Area: Police Seek Assistance Identifying Suspect

Fairfax County Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred at the Capital One Bank located at 6367 Seven Corners Center on Friday, according to an announcement released Sunday by police.

Around 5:30 p.m. Friday, a man entered the bank, approached one of the tellers and passed a note demanding money, according to police.

An undisclosed amount of cash was handed over and the suspect fled. The suspect was described as a black male in his 40s, police said. Detectives believe this man may have been involved in other similar cases in the area.
