Beating By Pimmit Hills Park Leads To Charges

Two teens could face charges for robbing and assaulting a victim walking home from the park.

FALLS CHURCH, VA—A beating and robbery near a Pimmit Hills park has led to potential charges for two teens Saturday, Fairfax County Police say.

Around 9:20 p.m., the victim was walking home from Tysons Pimmit Park when approached by the two teens. The teens demanded he walked back into the park, and one demanded a wallet while pushing an unknown object into the victim's back.

Police say the teens punched, kicked and pushed the victim to the ground. Officers and a K9 unit located both suspects.

Luis Mejia Perdomo, 19, of Falls Church, was arrested and charged with robbery and an outstanding warrant was served. Police are seeking petitions to charge the other teen, who is a juvenile.
