Bed Bugs Begone: Inova Facility Exterminates After Employee Calls TV Station

An employee said she was bitten by bed bugs which were crawling around her cubicle; she said management wasn't doing anything about it.

It apparently took a call to a TV station to get Inova to get rid of a bed bug problem this week at one of its buildings in the Falls Church area, ABC7 reports.

“We are aware that bedbugs have been found. The situation appears to be contained to the second floor, and we are currently assessing the situation to determine if there are any other locations,” Tracy Connell with Inova Health Systems told ABC 7.

No word on which building was affected by the bed bug problem.

Employees were told to go home and return Wednesday, after the extermination efforts.
