Bike to Work Day to Offer Freebies in Falls Church
Locations around Falls Church and the D.C. area will have food, drinks and giveaways for Bike to Work Day participants.

FALLS CHURCH, VA -- Ready to ditch the congested roads or Metro for your bicycle? On Friday there will be all the more reason to.
Bike to Work Day is Friday, and over 85 locations around the D.C. region will offer pit stops on the way to work. It's an annual event, coordinated regionally by Washington Area Bicyclist Association and Commuter Connections, celebrating bikers at all experience levels.
The first 16,000 registrants receive free T-shirts, and everyone can enjoy food, drinks and a chance to win prizes. Select stops will offer entertainment, activities and speakers. The event will happen rain or shine, but pit stop managers will contact you in cases of extreme weather. When registering, you can enter a giveaway for a $1,000 bicycle rack giveaway at your workplace.

- East Falls Church Metro Station, 2001 N Sycamore St. Arlington: 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
- Fresh bikes, Ballston, 3924 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington: 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.
- Strawberry Park, Mosaic District, 2910 District Avenue, Fairfax: 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.
- Front of Capital Grille, Tysons Corner Center, 1861 International Drive, McLean, VA 22102: 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
