'Bird Bandit' Brings Parrots To Strong-Arm Robbery In Seven Corners

SEVEN CORNERS, VA — A man accompanied by parrots committed a strong-arm robbery in Seven Corners Tuesday, according to Fairfax County Police.

Police had responded to the robbery around 8 a.m. Tuesday at the McDonald’s at 6165 Arlington Boulevard. An adult victim reported a man had shown a knife and took an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic man between 28 and 32 years old with tattoos. Surveillance footage from a nearby business showed the suspect wearing a patterned shirt and black cowboy hat with two parrots on it. He also had a third parrot on his shoulder. The suspect left the area in a blue Ford SUV.
