Body Found Behind Business In Culmore Area Of Bailey's Crossroads Investigated
Fairfax County Police responded to two body discoveries Saturday, including one in the Culmore area of Bailey's Crossroads.

BAILEY'S CROSSROADS, VA — A body was discovered Saturday in Bailey's Crossroads, according to Fairfax County Police.
The body was found behind a business in the 3300 block of Glen Carlyn Drive in the Culmore area of Bailey's Crossroads. Police did not say if the death was suspicious.
The identity of the person was not immediately known.

Detectives responded to investigate the death. Police are expected to provide more information at a later time.
This was the second body discovery police responded to in Fairfax County Saturday. Another body was found Saturday in the 7100 block of Mint Place in the Groveton area of the Richmond Highway corridor.

The 3300 block of Glen Carlyn Drive is also the location of a May 10 shooting police are investigating. Police had found the victim with a lower body gunshot wound and provided aid. The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries later classified as non-life-threatening.
The suspect in the case was described as a Hispanic man wearing a surgical mask, black sweatshirt and black pants. Surveillance images of the suspect were released by police.
