Body Found In Lake Barcroft Identified: Police
The body of a missing person was found in the lake, according to Fairfax County Police.
LAKE BARCROFT, VA—Police have released the identity of a body recovered in Lake Barcroft Wednesday morning, according to Fairfax County Police.
The body of Lee Bowersett, 55, of Falls Church had been found in the lake near the 6200 block of Lakeview Drive around 6 a.m. There are no initial signs of foul play.
Bowersett was reported missing around 10 p.m. Tuesday. He was not heard from since Sunday and his boat was missing. Police say his SUV was parked near the lake. An initial search with the police helicopter was unsuccessful, but his body was located Wednesday.
