FALLS CHURCH, VA — Falls Church families can now track bus arrivals through an app called Here Comes the Bus. Falls Church City Public Schools said the app is available to families for free.

The app uses GPS data and a customizable map to track buses in real time. The app can be downloaded from the App Store, Google Play or herecomesthebus.com. When signing up, Falls Church families should enter school code "29228" along with their students' last name and student ID number. Families with multiple children need only one account.

The school district cautions families that the app should not be a replacement for the regular bus schedule. Students should continue to arrive at bus stops five minutes before their scheduled pick-up times.
