Is US vs. THEM thinking hurting you, those around you, and your community? Do you want to gain insight into how to recognize and do something about it?
Join us for a youth-led workshop designed to raise awareness about “othering” and its impact, with a focus on youth. This workshop is for everyone looking to create a more inclusive environment. Our panel includes professionals from the school system, public policy community, and a student body leader.
What to Expect:
- Discover the impact of systemic exclusion based on race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status on its victims, the perpetrators, and our communities.
- Explore ways that schools can foster greater belonging and inclusion
- Engage with others to build awareness and empathy, and find solutions.
