Sign Up Today to Make Whimsical Miniature Figures with Sculpey on May 24 from 1-4 p.m.

Learn how to work with Sculpey (a polymer-based clay) to make whimsical yet realistic miniature figurines. Each participant will produce one figurine to take home from the class. The 3-hour session will feature an introduction to Sculpey, a demonstration and explanation of how to use the medium and the tools, and a guided sculpting session.

About the Instructor, Martin Hindel

Marty Hindel has been sculpting since the age of eight. Without any formal training, he naturally gravitated toward sculpture which combines two of his great loves – artistic expression and working with his hands. Marty has a keen sense of humor and loves producing miniature figurines that are cheerful or whimsical in nature. His works have been featured and sold in galleries throughout the DC metro area and have won several awards in the annual Montgomery County and Maryland State Fairs.
