Campaign Rally for Hillary Clinton Saturday at Eden Center

Congressman Gerry Connolly, state Del. Mark Keam, Neera Tanden, president and CEO of Center for American Progress will be on hand.

FALLS CHURCH, VA -- Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders will gather Saturday at the Eden Center in Falls Church to participate in a rally and canvass kick-off organized by DMV AAPIs for Hillary, according to the Clinton campaign.

The group is supporting the presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, who most recently served as the Secretary of State in the Obama Administration; Clinton is running against Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont. The Virginia presidential primary takes place March 1.

U.S. Congressman Gerry Connolly, state Delegate Mark Keam and President and CEO of the Center for American Progress Neera Tanden will speak at the event about their support for Clinton’s policies to empower families of all backgrounds and break down barriers through comprehensive immigration reform, education improvements, and support for small businesses, the campaign said.
