Car Crashes Into Pole, Flips Over In Dunn Loring
The driver had non-life-threatening injuries, but the road is closed as the pole is repaired.
DUNN LORING, VA—A driver was injured after crashing into a pole and the car flipped over in Dunn Loring Wednesday afternoon.
Fairfax County Fire and Rescue says one vehicle flipped onto the roof at Cedar Lane and Hilltop Avenue. Crews rescued the trapped driver from the vehicle. The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Cedar Lane is closed between Westchester Drive and Idylwood Road as power pole repairs happen. Fairfax County Fire and Rescue estimated the road could be closed for up to five hours, as of 3:45 p.m.
