Car Window Smashed In BJ's Parking Lot: Falls Church Police

Police are investigating a theft from a car, burglary at a vape shop and other incidents in the past week.

FALLS CHURCH, VA—An unknown vandal damaged a car in the BJ's Wholesale parking lot last week, according to Falls Church Police.

Police say someone smashed the windows of a black Hyundai between 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 25 and 3:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 26. Undisclosed items are missing from the car. There is no suspect information.

In other news, police are investigating a burglary with damages at a vape shop Sunday, Sept. 30. Around 9:44 a.m., the shop reported broken glass, and police determined a burglary occurred. Police are investigating.

Below are other notable incidents reported to Falls Church Police between Sept. 24 and Sept. 30.

Larceny, 6751 Wilson Blvd (Good Fortune Supermarket), Sept 25, 1:35 PM, an
unknown suspect took a wallet and groceries from the front loading area. The suspect is
described as an Asian male, wearing a yellow polo shirt and blue jeans.

Hit and Run, Meridian St @ Lincoln Ave, Sept 26, 12:50 PM, workers discovered that

a street sign had been struck and run over sometime during the overnight or early morning
hours.

Simple Assault, 800 blk W Broad St, Sept 28, 8:35 PM, police responded for a report
of an assault which had occurred earlier. Following an investigation, police arrested
Lisser Vidal Almendras, 44, of the City of Falls Church, for Domestic Assault.

Suspicious Event, 1100 blk W Broad St, Sept 30, 10:48 AM, police responded for
complaint of a verbal dispute including threats of harm. Investigation continues.
