The Fairfax County police have asked for the public’s assistance in finding a woman who allegedly stole a purse containing a large sum of cash on Jan. 10 from a Dunkin’ Donuts in Seven Corners.
The victim, a 51-year-old woman, and her 18-year-old daughter were in the store at 6138 Arlington Blvd. (Route 50) at about 11:50 a.m. on that day, a Sunday, the police said. They stopped there for breakfast before heading off to the daughter’s university out of state.

The doughnut shop is east of Route 7 at the intersection of Route 50 and Patrick Henry Drive, across from the Home Depot (see map below).
Shortly after leaving the Dunkin’ Donuts, the victim realized she left her purse on the back of a chair, the police said. When they returned to the store, the purse was missing. It contained cash intended for the daughter’s college tuition.
