Crash Reported Amid Icy Conditions In Bailey's Crossroads
Fairfax County Fire and Rescue has responded to several crashes and noted icy conditions.

BAILEY'S CROSSROADS, VA — A two-vehicle crash happened on Leesburg Pike amid icy conditions, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.
The crash happened on westbound Leesburg Pike over Columbia Pike. Medics were on scene to evaluate occupants of the two vehicles. Fairfax County Fire and Rescue noted the westbound left lane was covered in ice, and there have been several crashes this morning. Drivers are urged to be cautious around black ice.
Virginia State Police said wet roads from Monday turned slick overnight. Traffic crashes started to peak around 4 a.m. and have remained on major interstates within Northern Virginia. Since 4:15 a.m., state police have investigated 13 crashes and were responding to another 32 as of 7 a.m. Most of the crashes resulted in damage to vehicles but no injuries.
