Pedestrian Struck With Arrow In Bailey's Crossroads, Police Investigating

Fairfax County Police believe a crossbow's arrow struck a man walking on the sidewalk.

BAILEY'S CROSSROADS, VA — Fairfax County Police are investigating what they believe was a crossbow injury in Bailey's Crossroads Sunday.

Police had been called to the 3400 block of Carlin Springs Road around 12:05 a.m. on Sunday. According to police, a man walking on the sidewalk was struck with an arrow in his backpack. The arrow continued into the man's back.

The man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, was treated and released.
