Dog Bite Incident Reported Near Downtown Falls Church
Police are seeking information on the dog bite Monday morning. The information will determine if the victim needs vaccinations.

Falls Church Police's Animal Control is seeking information on a dog bite incident Monday morning.
Police say a man was bitten while walking in the 200 block of West Annandale Road near the rear parking garage entrance of the Harris Teeter. The leashed dog reportedly jumped on the man and bit him on the back of the thigh.
The man did not realize he was bitten until he returned home. The dog owner stopped but left without providing information. Unless he receives information about the dog, the man may have to get rabies inoculations.

The dog is described as having short brown or black hair and being around 50 to 60 pounds. The owner is a white woman with long dark hair parted in the middle.
