Dog Dies, 4 Residents Displaced By Falls Church House Fire
Two fire departments responded early Wednesday to a house fire, which resulted in a dog's death and no other injuries.

FALLS CHURCH, VA — A dog died in a house fire and four residents were displaced early Wednesday in Falls Church, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue. The displaced residents were not injured.
Around 1:45 a.m. Wednesday, Fairfax County and Arlington County fire units responded ot the 6900 block of Birch Street, which is just outside Falls Church City. Units found fire upon arrival and brought it under control within 10 minutes.
Damages were estimated to be $156,000. There was no immediate information about the fire's cause.
