Drug Dealer In Dunn Loring Sentenced For Meth Distribution

According to court documents, the Dunn Loring man distributed meth to customers around the DC area.

FALLS CHURCH, VA -- A Dunn Loring drug dealer was sentenced Friday to 11 years in prison for distributing 50 or more grams of methamphetamine.

Robert Mason Wildes, 35, pleaded guilty in February. According to court documents, Wildes regularly drove to distribute ounce to half-pound quantities of methamphetamine to customers in the Washington, DC area.

In December, authorities seized approximately 4.8 kilograms of methamphetamine and drug proceeds from his home and car. They also found fraudulent identification cards, packaging materials, and other items indicating a distribution operation.

The case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Agency and U.S. Postal Inspection Service as part of the multi-agency effort of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces. The program gives extra federal funding to federal and state agencies that identify, investigate and prosecute major drug trafficking organizations.
