Elderly Person Killed In West Falls Church Hit-And-Run
Police are looking for the driver who fled from the scene on Arlington Boulevard.

WEST FALLS CHURCH, VA—An elderly pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run Friday evening in West Falls Church, according to Fairfax County Police.
Around 6 p.m., police responded to the crash on Arlington Boulevard near Summerfield Road. The 93-year-old pedestrian was crossing the road when a pickup truck hit him. He was not using a crosswalk. The truck did not stop and drove away.
The pedestrian, Pericles Apostolou, of Falls Church, was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.

Detectives are seeking the driver, who was believed to be in a dark colored mid to full-size pickup truck with an open bed.
