Employee Assaulted In Falls Church Store Robbery: Police

Police are seeking three suspects after the assault sent an employee to the hospital.

FALLS CHURCH, VA — An employee was assaulted during a robbery at a Falls Church business Thursday, Nov. 21, according to police.

The robbery happened around 11:25 a.m. at For Eyes in the 400 block of West Broad Street. Police say three men entered the store and began gathering eye glass frames on display. The men assaulted the employee before fleeing across Broad Street and into a vehicle. According to police, the employee went to the hospital but will recover.

The suspects are described as three black men over 6 feet tall wearing dark sunglasses. Two wore black hoodies, and one wore a bright orange jacket. The vehicle is an early 2000’s blue/green sedan that is missing a passenger hubcap. No surveillance photos or videos are available.
