Falls Church Apartment Fire Displaces 35 People
Three people were rescued and taken to the hospital when the fire broke out, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.
FALLS CHURCH, VA — Around 35 people were displaced when a fire started at a Falls Church apartment building early Saturday, Fairfax County Fire and Rescue says.
The fire occurred around 2:30 a.m. at a garden-style apartment building in the 7300 block of Lee Highway, which is just outside the City of Falls Church. Crews arrived to find fire showing from the roof. Firefighters rescued three residents, who were taken to the hospital.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire. Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents.
