Falls Church Crime: Smashed Car Windows at 24-Hour Fitness, Shoplifting at CVS

Plus brandishing a firearm at a 7-Eleven. The latest crime report, Oct. 27-Nov. 2, from Falls Church Police.

  • Shoplifting, 134 W. Broad St. (CVS Pharmacy) On Oct. 28, an unknown male wearing a dark colored hoodie and a black backpack exited the store without paying for merchandise.
  • Larceny from Vehicle, 1000 E. Broad St. (24 Hour Fitness) On Oct. 28, police received a report that an unknown person smashed a car window and stole the victim’s wallet.
  • Vandalism to Vehicle, 1000 E. Broad St. (24 Hour Fitness) On Oct. 29, police received a report that an unknown person smashed a car window.
  • Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6779 Wilson Blvd. (Café Vy) On Oct. 29, Steven Dang, 36, of Annandale, was cited for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.
  • Trespass and Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6795 Wilson Blvd. #2 (Café Gio) On Oct. 29, Hung, Q. Mai, 56, no fixed address, was arrested and released on summons for Trespassing and Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.
  • Driving Under the Influence 100 block W. Broad St. On Oct. 30, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, Susannah N. Mcannally, 46, of Ashburn, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
  • Larceny of Motor Vehicle Parts, 400 block Jackson St. On Oct. 31, police received a report that four tires were stolen from the victim’s vehicle.
  • Larceny, 1222 W. Broad St. (Haandi Restaurant) On Oct. 31, disposed cooking oil was reported stolen from its tank.
  • Assaulting a Law Enforcement Officer, Destruction of Property, Resisting Arrest, and Disorderly Conduct, 220 N. Washington St. (State Theater) On Nov. 2, Stephen N. Albers, 32, of Arlington, was arrested for Assaulting a Law Enforcement Officer, Destruction of Property, Resisting Arrest, and Disorderly Conduct.
  • Simple Assault, 1200 block W. Broad St. On Nov. 2, police received a report of an assault. After an investigation, Gregory Peck, 62, of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Simple Assault.
  • Brandishing a Firearm, 110 N. West St. (7-Eleven) On Nov. 2, the victims reported the suspect brandished a firearm in the parking lot. After an investigation, the suspect was later identified. Dmitry Mikaylov, 33, of Falls Church, was arrested for Brandishing a Firearm.
