Falls Church Delegate Election Gets Libertarian Challenger
While the 13th House District doesn't have a primary, a Libertarian candidate will challenge Del. Marcus Simon in November.

FALLS CHURCH, VA — A primary election isn't scheduled for Falls Church's Virginia House of Delegates district, but a new Libertarian challenger has entered the race.
Dave Crance, a longtime Falls Church area resident involved in local veterans organizations, is running as a Libertarian in the Nov. 7, 2023 general election for the 13th House of Delegates district. He will challenge Del. Marcus Simon, a Democrat.
"I am running for Virginia House of Delegates District 13 as a Libertarian to provide an option other than the two-party system and their focus on special interests," Crance said in a statement. "I want to bring a fresh perspective to the legislature and ensure that the voices of the people in this district are heard above and before National Party Politics."
