Falls Church Drunk Driver Netted In Rainy Chase
A suspected intoxicated driver from Falls Church nearly got away but police tracked him down.

DUNN LORING, VA—A suspected drunk driver from Falls Church was caught during an early morning pursuit Monday in Dunn Loring.
Around 3 a.m., a police officer observed the suspect making a traffic violation and attempted to pull the car over in the area of Gallows Road and Cedar Street. The driver refused to stop, and a chase ensued.
The officer abandoned the chase due to rainy conditions, but officers found the suspect's car nearby in a parking lot.

Abel Villalobos Alvarado, 33, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, misdemeanor speed to elude, driving without a license, and refusal of a breath test.
