Falls Church Experiencing Power Outages Monday Morning
BREAKING: The city says the outage is causing some traffic lights to be without power.

FALLS CHURCH, VA — Power outages are impacting Falls Church Monday morning, according to the city and Dominion Energy.
Dominion Energy's outage map shows over 1,200 customers without power in an area of the city as of 11:20 a.m. The cause attributed to the power outage is a circuit out.
A downed power pole has temporarily closed Great Falls Street from Lincoln Avenue to Pennsylvania Avenue, as well as a portion of the Washington and Old Dominion Trail at Great Falls Street. Dominion Energy is on the scene to address the issue. The estimated completion date, subject to change, is 8 p.m.

The city also sent out an alert saying some traffic lights are without power. Drivers should treat dark intersections as four-way stops in all directions. Crews are working to install generators and get battery power to traffic lights.
