Anthony recently signed the letter committing himself to Concord University. Over the years Anthony has worked extremely hard and kept himself excelling both in the classroom and on the field, which has earned him a full scholarship.

Anthony already has his mind on his next academic pursuit, looking at majoring in either Kinesiology or Physical Education. He has a character to be admired—always giving credit to others and demonstrating thanks to both his teachers and his coaches. When talking with the coaching staff at Falls Church High School, Anthony’s character and impact on others can truly be noticed.

His position coach, Coach Scott, has said that Anthony is the most unselfish student. Mr. Coogan (Health/PE teacher and Varsity Football Coach), said: “Anthony carried the load as a senior. He never complained, he never missed a day in the weight room, he constantly pushed himself. He set position records in the weight room and was an overall leader on and off the field.”

When speaking with head coach Mr. Said Aziz, Coach Aziz said that Anthony, “…is the kind of kid you wanna root for to succeed in life. He never made excuses no matter what life handed him. Anthony was the teammate that was constantly the first one to arrive and the last to leave, often helping clean up. He will be the first in his family to go to college.”

The Falls Church High School family is very proud of Anthony and wishes him luck as he continues his education at Concord University and plays football in the Mountain East Conference.
