Falls Church Holiday Lighting Kicks Off After Thanksgiving

Falls Church will mark the holiday season with the downtown lighting ceremony.

FALLS CHURCH, VA—The City of Falls Church will kick off the Christmas season with a downtown street lighting ceremony Monday, Nov. 26 at 6 p.m. in the 100 block of West Broad Street.

Santa will make an appearance, escorted by the Falls Church Volunteer Fire Department. Creative Cauldron's Madeline singers and the George Mason High School Chamber Singers will provide live musical entertainment.

Local restaurants and other businesses may be offering specials that day. After the ceremony, residents are encouraged to visit local businesses or attend the City Council meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the Community Center (223 Little Falls Street).
