Falls Church Honors City Employees For Public Service Recogntion Week
The Falls Church City Council issued a proclamation on Monday honoring city government employees as part of Public Service Recognition Week.

FALLS CHURCH, VA — The Falls Church City Council issued a proclamation on Monday honoring city government employees as part of Public Service Recognition Week.
The event is organized annually by the Public Employees Roundtable. The 2022 event is occurring May 1-7.
At Monday's city council meeting, all city, state and federal government employees gathered in the meeting room for a group photo.

“Every day of the year and at all hours of the day and night, City and School employees provide critically important public services to residents of the City of Falls Church and the region,” Falls Church City Council Member David Snyder said at Monday’s meeting, reading from the proclamation.
During the week, the city is spotlighting the work of different employees in the city government.
