Falls Church Man Caught In High Speed Chase Near Residential Area

No one was injured as a Falls Church driver sped through a residential neighborhood and fled from police.

FALLS CHURCH, VA—Fairfax County Police caught a man speeding through a residential neighborhood early Friday in Falls Church.

Around 12:15 a.m., an officer observed the driver going at a high speed and an equipment violation on the vehicle. The driver kept speeding along when the cop tried to pull him over.

After a short chase in the area of Arlington Boulevard, the driver eventually came to a stop near Oak Ridge Road and Wayne Road. Nobody was injured in the pursuit.

Police arrested and charged Francisco Maldonado Sanabria, 25, of Falls Church with felony speed to elude, reckless driving and defective equipment. An arrest photo was not available.
