Falls Church Man Dies In Single-Vehicle Crash In Fauquier County
The man was not wearing a seat belt, according to Virginia State Police. Others wearing seat belts were not injured.
FAUQUIER COUNTY, VA—A Falls Church man died during a single-vehicle crash in Fauquier County Wednesday, June 5, according to Virginia State Police. Others in the vehicle had little to no injuries.
The crash happened around 5:50 a.m. on Route 50 near Federal Street in Paris, Virginia. The Ford F150 truck was heading west on Route 50 when the driver ran off the roadway. When the driver over-corrected, the vehicle left the roadway again before crashing into an embankment and overturning.
A passenger, Francisco Romero-Gonzalez, 49, of Falls Church, died of his injuries on the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt. Another passenger not wearing a seat belt had minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.

The driver, Rolando Orozco-Moya, 42, of Annandale, and another passenger wearing seat belts were not injured. Orozco-Moya was charged reckless driving.
The crash remains under investigation.
